The 15-foot leash is made of solid braided polypropylene that comes in Small (1/4" diameter), Medium (5/16" diameter) and Large (3/8" diameter), and features hooks on both ends. All leashes have leather accents and solid brass snap hooks and rings. The small has no ring as you can clip the snap hook to the cord itself.

Traditionally used for tracking, long lines are useful for many other purposes:

• great for training recall
• give your dog extra walking/running space when in an "on-leash" area
• temporarily fasten your dog to an object (tree, fencepost) so you can be hands-free
